Impact Open Championships – 3 July 2022

Team Warrior have been invited to the Impact Open Taekwon-Do Championships on Sunday 3rd July 2022, held at the Dolphin Leisure Centre in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

Here are the event details:

Venue and address

• The Dolphin Leisure Centre, Pasture Hill Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex, RH16 1LY .

Registration Time

• 09:00 (under 13s)
• 13:30 (14-17 years)
• 14:30 (18+ years)

Competition Time

• 10:00 (under 13s)
• 14:00 (14-17 years)
• 15:00 (18+ years)

Please ensure you arrive on time at the venue to register as late arrivals will not be able to compete.

Equipment

All De Silva students must wear the academy tracksuit* upon arrival and change into their white uniforms before competition. 

*If you do not have a tracksuit please contact the office as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT – No sparring equipment will be available to hire on the days, please ensure you have your own.

• Headguard
• Semi-contact gloves
• Semi-contact boots
• Mouth guard
• Shin pads
• Groin guard (males)

Additional Information:

• It is never a guarantee that the organisers will provide food or refreshments to buy on site, therefore we recommend bringing your own sandwiches, snacks and water.
• We advise against bringing any food with any kind of sauce as it may leak and possibly stain your uniform.
• Car park available on site.
• The cost for spectators is £5.00 for the whole day.
