De Silva Taekwon-Do | Interclub Championships 2025

Dear Students & Parents,

We’re thrilled to invite you to the De Silva Taekwon-Do Interclub Championships, taking place on Sunday, 16th November 2025 at the Brunel University Sports Centre.

This exclusive event is open to De Silva Taekwon-Do members only, giving every student the chance to step onto the mats, test their skills, and grow in confidence, perseverance, and self-control, all within a safe and supportive environment.

👊 Who Can Compete?

• Lil’ Warriors (5–6 years)
• Cadets – White & Colour Belts (7–13 years)
• Juniors (14–17 years)
• Seniors (18+ years)

📅 Tournament Details

• Date: Sunday, 16th November 2025
• Venue: Brunel University Sports Centre, Kingston Lane, Uxbridge UB8 3PH

Approximate Timings (subject to change depending on entries):

Lil’ Warriors & White to Yellow/Green Stripe Belts: 09:00–12:30

Green Belts to Blue/Red Stripe Belts: 13:00–17:00

Note: Red Belts, Black Stripes, and Black Belts are expected to assist on the day. Additional details will be provided in a separate email.

Please be aware that there may be variation in these timing depending to the number of competitors and events on the day.

🏆 Categories & Entry Fees

All competitors will participate in two categories; Pattern and Sparring.

Note: Beginner students (White Belts & White with Yellow Stripe) may choose whether to compete in sparring. Sparring gear will be provided for Lil’ Warriors and White Belt students.

👕 Dress Code & Equipment

• Black Lil’ Warrior Uniform (ages 5–6) OR
• White Club Uniform (ages 7+)

Required sparring equipment (Yellow Belt & above must bring their own):

• Headguard
• Semi-contact gloves & boots
• Mouth guard
• Shin pads
• Groin guard (males)

⚠️ Deadline for equipment orders: Sunday 2nd November

📝 Registration

All students must register online via the link below. Please ensure your details are correct, as competitors will be grouped by gender, age, grade, and size. Incorrect entries may result in being placed in the wrong division, and no refunds will be given.
