Following the release of the official information pack, we are pleased to share details regarding the International Instructor Course (IIC) 2026, which will take place in Bedford, England from 4–6 September 2026.
The International Instructor Course is one of the most important events on the ITF calendar and provides Black Belts with the opportunity to train directly under the guidance of the ITF Technical Committee, receive the latest technical updates and deepen their understanding of ITF Taekwon-Do alongside practitioners from around the world.
The course will be conducted by:
- Grandmaster Hector Marano, IX Degree (Argentina), Chairperson of the ITF Technical Committee
- Grandmaster Ung Kim Lan, IX Degree (Germany), Member of the ITF Technical Committee
- Grandmaster Jerzy Jedut, IX Degree (Poland), Member of the ITF Technical Committee

🎟️ Entry:
Registration closes at 17:00 on Thursday 23 July 2026. As places are limited, we recommend registering as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

🥋 Uniform & Protocol
All participants are required to wear a clean and ironed official ITF Dobok throughout the course and are expected to follow the official ITF protocol and etiquette requirements at all times.
✈️ Travel:
Bedford is easily accessible by rail and road.
By Train
Bedford is served by direct trains from London St Pancras International, with journey times of approximately 40 minutes.
By Car
Bedford is located approximately 60 miles north of Central London and is easily accessible via the M1 motorway.
🏨 Accommodation:
A number of accommodation options are available close to the venue.
The Mercure Hotel Bedford has been designated as the official event hotel and will also host the Saturday evening banquet. A limited allocation of rooms has been reserved for participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Alternatively, the Premier Inn Bedford (Priory Marina) is located just two minutes from the venue and provides a convenient accommodation option for attendees.
👗 Banquet
An official IIC Banquet will take place on Saturday 5 September 2026 at the Mercure Hotel Bedford.
The banquet provides an excellent opportunity to socialise with fellow instructors and practitioners from around the world following a full day of training.
The evening includes:
- Three-course meal
- Entertainment
- Opportunity to meet members of the ITF Technical Committee
Cost: £45 per person
