10 June 2026Following the release of the final information from the organisers, we are pleased to publish full details for the ITF World Cup 2026.
The ITF World Cup is the largest club event on the international ITF calendar, bringing together thousands of competitors from across the world. It provides an outstanding opportunity to compete internationally whilst representing De Silva Taekwon-Do on one of the biggest stages in ITF Taekwon-Do.

📝 Confirmation of Attendance Required:
We are now asking all prospective competitors to make a firm commitment as to whether they intend to represent De Silva Taekwon-Do at this year’s event.
This is not simply an expression of interest. We now need to know who is committed to attending so that we can begin the administrative registration process with the event organisers.
No payment will be taken at this stage. However, by completing the registration form you are confirming your intention to attend and authorising De Silva Taekwon-Do to begin the registration process on your behalf.
Should you subsequently withdraw from the event, De Silva Taekwon-Do reserves the right to charge for any administrative work already undertaken.
If you do not complete the registration form by 5:00pm on Monday 13 July 2026, we will assume that you do not intend to participate and you will not be included in the De Silva Taekwon-Do delegation.
Eligibility:
The ITF World Cup is open to members of the De Silva Taekwon-Do Elite Team who are Blue Belt and above and were born in 2013 or earlier.
Competitors must also meet the age requirements for the applicable ITF division:

Attendance at the ITF World Cup is by invitation from Master Johann de Silva.
Competitors must:
- Be invited by Master de Silva.
- Hold a minimum grade of Blue Belt (4th Kup).
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent attendance and a commitment to training.
- Be prepared to represent De Silva Taekwon-Do professionally throughout the event.
Submitting a registration form does not automatically guarantee selection. All registrations remain subject to approval by Master de Silva.
Entry:
All competitors will be registered by the De Silva Taekwon-Do Office Team via SportData.
To register for the ITF World Cup, please complete the registration form linked below.
Deadline for all registrations will be on Thursday 20th August 2026.
The ITF World Cup entry fee is $190 USD per competitor. This includes the organiser’s entry fee and a De Silva Taekwon-Do administration fee to cover registration processing, payment handling and delegation administration.
There may be a chance to enter the team events, if this is the case there will be an additional entry fee of roughly $35 per person to cover the team entry fee. This will only be added if decided/eligible to enter the team events.
At registration at the event, each competitor will need your ITF ID card (Black Belts only) and national passport. Please indicate to us, if you do not have this, so we can organise a replacement in sufficient time.
✈️ Travel:
The De Silva Taekwon-Do Office Team has been monitoring flight prices since January 2026.
At the time of publication, return flights from London airports to Alicante, including cabin baggage and hold luggage, are available from under £200 per person.
For supporters who may not needs as much baggage, flights are available for under £150 per person.
All competitors and supporters are responsible for arranging their own travel to and from Benidorm.
🏨 Accommodation:
Option 1 – Arrange Your Own Accommodation
This is typically the more cost-effective option.
However, competitors staying in non-official accommodation will be required to pay the organisers’ accreditation fee, which provides access to the competition venue.
Competitors choosing this option will also be responsible for:
- Their own accommodation booking
- Breakfast, lunch and evening meals
- Daily transport to and from the competition venue
Option 2 – Official Event Accommodation
Alternatively, De Silva Taekwon-Do can arrange accommodation through the official event organisers.
The official accommodation package includes:
- Official event hotel
- Event accreditation
- Breakfast each morning
- Dinner each evening
This option allows the De Silva Taekwon-Do team to stay together throughout the event and simplifies the administration process.
At the time of publication, rooms are still available; however, availability is limited and may change quickly as the event approaches.

Once registrations have been received, the De Silva Taekwon-Do Office Team will coordinate accommodation requirements for those wishing to stay within the official event hotels.
Supporters
Family members and supporters are welcome to attend the event.
Supporters who wish to access the venue throughout the week must purchase an official Supporter Pass through the De Silva Taekwon-Do delegation.
Supporter Pass: $170 USD per person
Please note that supporters who choose not to stay in an official event hotel will also be required to purchase the organisers’ Event Accreditation Package, currently priced at $170 USD per person.
This means that supporters staying in independent accommodation may incur additional costs beyond the Supporter Pass, as well as being responsible for arranging their own transportation and meals throughout the event.
💬 Coaching & Delegation Fees
Based on the responses received through the Expression of Interest Form, the De Silva Taekwon-Do coaching team is currently expected to consist of two coaches: Master de Silva and Ms Honey Ospina.
The organisers require all coaches to purchase a Coach Accreditation Pass, currently priced at $60 USD per coach.
The total cost of the coaching accreditation passes will be shared equally across the delegation and added to competitor invoices.

Due to the deadlines imposed by the event organisers, payments must be received by the following dates:

Please note that De Silva Taekwon-Do is required to submit payments to the organisers in advance. Failure to make payment by the deadlines above may result in accommodation, accreditation or competition entries being unavailable.
Invoices will be issued by the De Silva Taekwon-Do Office Team following receipt of your registration form and must be paid via BACS using the details provided.
🥋 Required Equipment:
All competitors must comply with current ITF competition regulations.
ITF Dobok
Competitors must wear an officially approved ITF Dobok and belt. Approved manufacturers currently include Top Ten and MightyFist.
Protective Equipment
Competitors entering sparring divisions must have a complete set of ITF-approved protective equipment in both red and blue, including:
- Gloves
- Foot Protectors
- Head Guard
- Shin Guards
- Mouth Guard
- Groin Guard (male competitors)
If you require any equipment, please indicate this to the office team who will be happy to assist.
👏 Delegation Expectations
The ITF World Cup is not only an opportunity to compete, but also an opportunity to represent De Silva Taekwon-Do as part of a team.
All competitors and supporters will be expected to follow the De Silva Taekwon-Do event schedule and support fellow team members throughout the week. This includes attending any required meetings, registrations and team activities, as well as supporting teammates during their events wherever possible.
By registering for the event, competitors and supporters acknowledge that they are joining the De Silva Taekwon-Do delegation and agree to work together to create a positive and supportive team environment.
