Organised by Sahyun Johann De Silva and Sabum Tim Kool, The Warrion Open is an ITF Taekwon-Do tournament held in London, England open to all organisations and groups.
Brought to you by the organisers of the internationally renowned ITF Championships the Holland Cup, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2019.

Why do we have competition?
ITF Taekwon-Do is a Martial Arts with four distinct facets, as a sport, a martial art, a tool for social development and as a way of life. Competition highlights the Sport facet of ITF Taekwon-Do.There are several tournaments a year available to our students that we announce on our website, via email and in class by the instructors. We recommend that students attend as many as possible to gain experience in a controlled environment, enhance their training and help with their progression.
Some of the tournaments are organised by ourselves, like The Warrior Open tournament which is held annually on the last weekend in March. The Warrior Open is a mandatory event for all De Silva Taekwon-Do students.
The events we choose to attend are the best tournaments for our students to experience a competition in a safe environment with the instructors they already know and it is a lot of fun and a confidence booster!. Also they have the added benefit of being reasonably local to our academies so it is more convenient for families as they don't need to travel far.
