It’s Tournament time!
The De Silva Taekwon-Do Interclub Championships will be held on Sunday 25th September 2022 at the Brunel University Sports Park.
The Interclub Championships is for: Lil’ Warriors (5-6 Years), White & Colour Belt Cadets (7-13 Years), Juniors (14-17 Years) and Seniors (18+).
This competition is exclusively for De Silva Taekwon-Do members only; a unique opportunity to compete against your fellow students and is the safest way for you to stress test the skills that you have been training as well as learn valuable life lessons about confidence, perseverance and self control.

An approximate indication is included below so you can plan your day. Please be aware that there may be variation in these timing depending to the number of competitors and events on the day.

CATEGORIES AND ENTRY FEES
All competitors will participate in two categories; Pattern and Sparring.
All beginner students (10th Kup – White Belt) will be given the option of competing in the Sparring division and will be provided with Sparring equipment.

DRESS CODE & EQUIPMENT
All De Silva students must wear the academy’s tracksuit* (top & bottoms) upon arrival, and change into either their Black Lil’ Warrior Uniform (5-6 year olds on the Lil’ Warriors Programme) or White De Silva Taekwon-Do Club Uniform (7 years +).
IMPORTANT – All students Yellow Belt and above must have their own Sparring equipment in order to participate in the Sparring event.
If you are missing any items, please speak to your club instructor or contact the Admin Team at office@deSilvaTKD.com, who will be able to advise you on this.
Required Equipment list:
- Black or White uniform as applicable.
- Headguard
- Semi-contact gloves
- Semi-contact boots
- Mouth guard
- Shin pads
- Groin guard (males)
Please note – Due to a worldwide shortage of Headguards, certain sizes may not be available to purchase. If you require a Headguard for the event, please contact the Admin Team at Office@deSilvaTKD.com.
REGISTRATION
All students must register for the Interclub Championships via the registration form linked below.
Please ensure that all the details you provide in your entry form are correct. Competitors will be separated into divisions based on gender, age, grade, and size.
If you are entered into the wrong division as result of incorrect information being given, you may be unable to participate in the event and no refund will be given for your entry payment.
